Perhaps a New York City location? Rents are falling! Also, can you keep a bigger stock of the "Pure Mind" Yerba Mate? Stuff sells like...mate. Thanks for the great everything, Dave.
Dave;
We recently did a test market in NYC with our wholesale items in coffee shops. There was (and still is) interest, a need, and a want. But we lack the man power to pull it off at the moment and the moolah (and the space!) to boot. So, stay tuned. It's on the table getting some serious energy. And as for the Pure Mind, we order it 2x/week, Tuesday and Thursday.
-have decaf expresso
-bagels are too dense. maybe this is inevitable vegan thing..
-made to order bagel sandwiches, allowing for toasting would really increase yumminess, right?
-We had decaf espress for a year and you were the third person that ordered it. Sorry, not a good seller.
-Sorry you don't like the bagels. Bagels are supposed to be dense, and 'real' bagels (minus your faux egg bagels or cheese bagels) are vegan! Flour, yeast, water, salt. Yum.
-We are not set up to make sandwiches to order. Take a peek in our kitchen. All of our items are purposely made so you can enjoy them in house or off site. We are toying with the idea of getting a panini grill to heat the sammies. Stay tuned....
Please make a vegan donut before I die. I am moving to LA and will miss you.
I think you guys should start making donuts.
Still holding out for donuts:-) Thank you, ~Donut Dreamer~
Doughnuts!
this is the number 1 requested item. Gees, fried bread really does things to people. Well, hell yeah we say!! We've been testing for a while and are minutes away from launching the doughnuts. We are interviewing as I write for a a donut-maker.
Perhaps employees could wera rubber gloves especially during flu season.
rubber gloves don't protect you or food from bacteria. Good hygiene does. Handling money, touching the counter, and shaking hands will spread the bac with or without gloves on. This is why we use the little white waxed paper to put your cookies in the bag, or you cake in the box. If we were to put on a new pair of rubber gloves every time we handled a new customer, we would waste tons of plastic and be in the poor house.
menu ideas; fluffernutter sandwiches and mushroom and barley soup.
Yum, and yum. We've done the soup before and will again this winter. Two new soup urns are on order so we can do hot soup and BREAD BOWLS!!!! AS for the fluffernutter, I'm all for it but we would have to keep them refrigerated, which takes away from the yumminess. I'll test it out.
Please, Please, Please stay open an hour later on week days. Than you very much.
Ok. Gotta hire some new counter folk, so give it a week or two.
Do you compost?
Funny you should ask. I went to a meeting last week to learn how to begin composting. I have a meeting next week for someone to come in and get us started. I hope they don't recommend the worm compost. www.envirelation.com
less soy =more happiness
YOU crazy! Soy is so brilliant and delicous and makes not eating animals all the more fun. Unless you are allergic, and in that case we have BBQ Seitan, Lentil Salad, Pesto Pasta, and the Hummus and Hummus Wrap.
Kill that racist policy of custodial roles for latinos and culture-dominationby whites and if you're charging me $5 for a latte, gimme a lot, a lid, and a smile. And are you f*&% kidding me about fur?
I'm pretty sure it's just as racist to not hire someone based on their heritage/skin color as it is to hire them based on heritage/skin color. If someone applies and they work well with our current staff, they are hired. I'll let our non-white employees know that by being Latino and working in the kitchen they are promoting white custodial culture dominationg roles by the whities. And as for the fur policy, we are dead serious. Please don't wear fur in our store. Our entire modle has been built on the concept that animlas should not suffer so that we can enjoy life. And by the looks of things, we are not the only ones.
Chocolate syrup for iced coffee would be great.
We have ample amounts of chocolate syrup for all of your coffee needs. Just ask your friendly barista.
The coffee tastes Terrible. Keep it in an insulated container bot a continual burner.
??? the brewer is in plain sight. Where do you see a burner? We brew fresh coffee regularly and can hardly keep 'em full. Sorry you hate the coffee, but we like it dark and strong.
Proof that we can't make everyone happy;
Make the peanut butter crunch bars again please!
Had a peanut butter bar here a few weeks ago-really dry and not great. Just wanted to comment-everything else is yummy! Thanks!
Love sticky fingers! But can you folks do treats with carob instead of chocolate?
Thanks for the love but no, never! There is an over saturated market of vegan carob treats out there, and I will not partake!
(proof we listen to y'all)
Is there any way you guys can change the credit card machine receipts so that we can add tips on our cards? Thanks, Stephanie.
